The Walker-McGill Endowment

The Walker McGill Endowment was established by bequest of John “Jack” Donald McGill, Jr. and Frances Walker McGill.  Income from the Endowment is used to purchase genealogical books, records, materials, and equipment for use in the Genealogical Section of the Lee County Library.  Family historians and researchers benefit from the many resources available at the Lee County Library as a result of the Endowment, including access to the popular Ancestry Library and Heritage Quest Online genealogical databases.
