Helen Fleming

Helen Fleming is a native of Tupelo whose family history has been closely tied to the Lee County Library.  As a child she spent many hours at the library with her beloved grandmother Helen Foster.  Helen has three daughters; Amanda Viator, Julia Viator and Perri Williams (Sam) and a grandson S. Foster Williams.

Ms. Fleming is a graduate of Tupelo High School and the University of Southern Mississippi.  She taught algebra at Tupelo High School and is currently employed by the Mississippi Department of Education as an attendance officer.

Ms. Fleming is a member of the First United Methodist Church and served two years as president of the United Methodist Women, she is also a member of the Mutual Culture Club, Kiwanis, Altrusa and a number of other civic organizations.

Ms. Fleming worked as an equine specialist for the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce and served as president of many state and local equine associations and currently serves as vice president of the Palomino Horse Breeders Foundation and Museum in Tulsa, OK.

Ms. Fleming owns and operates Cedar Grove Farms.
